Family Subscription vs. School Subscription
Dinolingo offers two main subscription types—Family Subscription and School subscription—each designed to meet the needs of different types of users. Below is a detailed breakdown to help you choose the best option for your child, classroom, or learning group.
Our Family Subscription: A single family account supports up to 6 users, includes all 50 languages and ~40,000 activities, and works across all platforms—iOS, Android, and the website. Our family subscription is $199/year.
Our School Subscription is designed for classroom use. Also includes all 50 languages and ~40,000 activities. It supports multiple classrooms and teachers, and includes gradebook, class/teacher management, and homework/classwork assignment tools. Pricing is $24 per student per year.
1. Content Access
Both family and school subscriptions offer full access to Dinolingo’s language library, including:
- 50+ languages
- 40,000+ interactive lessons
- Videos, songs, games, stories, worksheets
No content difference between plans.
2. Number of Users
- Family accounts support up to 6 children.
- School accounts are scalable, supporting from 20 to millions of students, perfect for classrooms, districts, and educational institutions.
3. How Students Log In
- In family accounts, parents log in and children access the lessons from there.
- In school accounts, each student receives a unique code (no email required), allowing them to log in independently from any device.
4. Classroom & Teacher Features
- Family accounts do not include classroom or teacher tools.
- School subscriptions allow you to add unlimited teachers and classrooms, giving full control over learning groups.
5. Homework & Assignments
- Family plans are for home learning and do not offer homework features.
- School plans allow teachers to assign homework, lessons, and classwork directly to each student.
6. Grading & Progress Tracking
- Family accounts do not include grading.
- School accounts come with a built-in grading system, allowing teachers to track student performance and engagement.
7. Subscription Duration
- Families can subscribe monthly ($19/month) or annually ($199/year).
- Schools must subscribe annually, with pricing starting at $24 per student per year (minimum 20 students).

- Families get a 7-day free trial with no commitment.
- Schools receive a 14-day free trial to explore all educator features.
9. Payment Methods
- Families can pay using credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and more.
- Schools can use all of the above, plus pay by check (U.S. only).
10. Tutors & Homeschooling Groups
- Small homeschool families (under 6 kids) usually benefit more from the family plan.
- Tutors or homeschooling families with more than 6 learners can opt for a school plan for more robust classroom features.
